Do you have a subway buddy? I guess if you don't take public transportation you have no idea what I'm talking about. A subway buddy is someone who you don't know and will never speak to, but they are somehow on the subway with you every morning on your way to work.
I have a subway buddy, and this week things got a little freaky. You see, today I was 20 minutes late and somehow we were still on the same subway car of the G train. And yesterday, when I took the bus to the L train instead of my normal G train commute, she was SITTING NEXT TO ME ON THE BUS. This is getting really weird. So just to make things more weird, I took a picture of her this morning with my cellphone. She totally saw me doing it and tried to cover up her face. She knows I'm on to her:Subway Buddy, if you are out there, and you are somehow reading this, come forward! Let's be friends! You seem like a cool girl and we probably have a lot in common! But please know that I will never ask you to be my friend in person because I'm way too shy.

Wow! This is a great post! I have a subway buddy but am also too shy. Too bad subwaybuddy.com is taken, and redirects to some bridge and tunnel crap. Like your blog. Let's swap links.
